Brentwood is home to our first swing dance class in Essex. Brentwood has a nice, friendly learning environment filled with people of all ages. Brentwood is also just a Jiveswing stroll from Retro Saturdays, our monthly social dance in Chelmsford.
You’ll find us on Wednesdays, 8-11pm at The Essex Arms, Warley Hill, Brentwood, Essex, CM14 5HA.
What to Expect
Doors open at 7:45 pm. When you arrive, you will be greeted by our friendly crew who will guide you through ‘what’s what’. The night kicks off with our beginners/improvers class.
Beginner/Improver Class: 8.00pm-9.00pm
We will focus primarily on Lindy Hop. However, from time to time you will be introduced to a variety of other styles including 1920s Charleston, Balboa and Authentic Jazz. You can accelerate with workshops.
Please note, drinks must be bought from the bar, please do not bring your own drinks.
The Venue
The Essex Arms, Warley Hill, Brentwood, Essex, CM14 5HA. As the class is held in a bar please do not bring your own drinks into the venue, you can get whatever you need from the bar 🙂
There is a free car park at the rear of the Essex Arms, plus on-road parking directly outside.
Our Brentwood class attracts dancers from Brentwood, Romford, Dagenham, Billericay, Epping, Loughton and Upminster.
