Join Swingopedia Speaks as Joseph Sewell interviews the founder of the worlds first Black Dance Museum and author of the Book Soul Dancing Mr Frank R.Ross, to share his vast knowlege on his history of dance from Eygyption times, Plantation Dances, Master Juba and so many dances that have influenced Tap, Solo Jazz and the numerous swing dances. He will also discuss a number of swing dance styles that may people are not aware of that are thriving. He will be answering some important questions to reveal lots of ‘wow’ moments. This is not to be missed!
How it works:
The event will consist of both live and video content, streamed on Zoom, to allow more interaction. There will be a Q&A session, to allow you to ask the many questions that you’ll be sure to have after this interview. Spaces are limited, so once it’s gone it’s gone.
About Frank Ross:
Frank a former teacher, holds a Masters Degree in Education and a Degree in Dance and Education. He is the founder of the worlds first Black Dance Museum and the author of the book ‘Soul Dancing’. He holds a vast knowledge on a wide range of dances, unknown to many including swing dances, ranging from Egyptian times, Plantation dances and so many others that have influenced Tap, Solo Jazz and Swing Dance
