After an incredible 3 years we we’re excited to offer the 4th WGC Vintage Festival, a unique international 2 day, 3  evening live music & dance event, plus all things vintage organised by JiveSwing.Com and sponsored by the businesses of Welwyn Garden City in the UK.

In 2024, we had over 100 top internationally acclaimed musicians, singers, DJs, performers, Swing, Lindy Hop, Jive, Rock n Roll dancers, dance instructors seen on TV, Theatre and movies, dance classes, vintage & classic cars, fashion, vintage stalls and children’s entertainers across 5 stages and arenas filling the town centre streets with vintage entertainment for a whole weekend.

For 2025, we currently have visitors from 14 countries, including USA and all over Europe, as the event also hosts the WGC Vintage Festival dance camp with swing dance workshops by day and concerts/ social dancing and shows by night. Full details below.

(Only 25 minutes from King Cross.)

Howard Centre Car park – 1 min walk
Oaklands College WGC Carpark – 1 min walk*

*available only to those registered for the dance workshops and concerts

Accommodation

Travelodge WGC – 1 mins walk (HC Carpark directly behind)
Premier Inn WGC – 15mins walk (Onsite Carpark)

There are also lots of cheaper Air BnB’s etc in Welwyn Garden City town centre.
NB: We would recommend booking your accomodation ASAP to find somewhere close to the Howard Centre.

Eating & Drinking

The location will be filled with food and drink vendors, but also surrounded by lots of cool café’s and classic restaurants, all within 5 mins walk.

During the daytime on Saturday and Sunday, the streets and a live music outdoor stage will be filled with lots of FREE live entertainment at the following times.

JiveSwing Stage (Howard Centre): 12-5pm
Kids Fun Zone (Howardsgate): 12-5pm
Howard Centre (S.Mall): 11-11:45am
Oaklands College : 8pm-3:00am

FREE DANCE CLASS

FREE absolute beginners JiveSwing dance classes at 11:00am on Saturday and Sunday morning inside the Howard Centre. No experience, age limit or partners required. Spaces are limited so CLICK HERE to book NOW!

SWING DANCE CAMP

In addition to the free outdoor festival, there are studio based swing dance workshops for experienced dancers taught by professional international instructors from various countries, plus evening concerts and social dancing on the Friday, Saturday & Sunday evenings.
