Our 5th WGC Swing Festival  is now over. Many thought it was the best so far. WGCSF a unique international 2 day, 3 evening, live music & dance event, held in one venue, organised by JiveSwing.Com.

This year we had visitors from 17 countries and all over the UK for a unique weekend of workshops, all night dancing, live music, history talks, competitions etc. We no longer run the free live music stages in the town centre, but maintain everything on one campus. For 2027, we’re adding a lot more for dancers, including more entertainment, more international teachers, more musicians, more history and more diverse classes, but the same cosy family feel. As the 2026 edition sold out quickly we, recommend booking as soon as registration opens in October 2026. Details below.

NB: We would recommend booking your accommodation ASAP to find somewhere close to the venue.

Eating & Drinking

The location is surrounded by lots of cool café’s and classic restaurants, all within 5 mins walk. However we are looking at having a special lunch, with hot food at the venue for 2026. Full details in the pack, when you book.
