Just got back from Swing on the beach, winter edition, held in the Grand Hotel, literally on the beach. Dancers came from all over Italy, for 2 days of workshops, 2 nights of dancing with the Billy Bros. Swing Band, plus competitions and more..
It was great fun for Charlotte and I to work with our amazing fellow teachers Max and Pamela, which made for a great weekend. The hotel was so nice, with friendly staff and the food was absolutely yummy too.. All 4 courses !!
The students, split into various levels, were a joy to teach, as we shared our passion for swing dancing and lots of fun moments and my own Jamalian Language, which is a mix of Jamaican, English and Italian. The atmosphere of the evening, was great and the Billy Bros, played some amazing songs for the competitions..
We would like to say a massive thanks to Roberta and Maurizio, our italian famiglia, for putting on another amazing event and allowing us to be part of it.. They are passionate organisers with a big heart..
