JiveSwing.com, sponsored by Watford Borough Council presents, one of the biggest FREE one day ‘JiveSwing Jazz Festivals’ ever, to be held in the UK for both dancers, musicians and fans to jam together in one of the UK’s largest and beautiful parks.

Now in it’s 12th year, attracting over 3000 people from around the UK, the JiveSwing Festival has grown each year, with a much bigger stage, a growing line up of the biggest international Swing, Jazz bands, DJ’s etc from around the UK, plus FREE swing dance classes and dance shows for all the family. Plus food & drink, vintage vehicles, vintage stalls and a kids corner, with bouncy castle, merry go round, candyfloss and more! Don’t miss it!!

The Band Stand Area, Cassiobury Park, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD18 7HY
(Enter via Shepherds Rd entrance, near the Cha Cha Cafe).

Please allow an extra 20mins on your journey time and arrive early to get a good picnic spot near the band stand area. Toilets will be available onsite including disabled facilities.

Watford Tube – 0.2 miles (Near to the park)
Watford High Street – 1.2miles
Watford Junction – 1.2miles
(Only a 25 minute train ride from King Cross and plenty of taxi’s from Watford Junction or High Street.)

Eating & Drinking

There is a café In the park. In addition the festival area will be filled with food and drink vendors

Cassiobury Park Carpark -1 min walk
There is also parking in the surrounding residential areas

Planning

Access on foot is easier via the Shepherds Rd entrance, off Cassiobury Park Avenue.
Please allow an extra 20mins on your journey time and arrive early to get a good picnic spot near the band stand area.
Each year we encourage people to bring pop up tents, picnic blankets. However larger gazebos and tents should be set up nearer the outer limits of the festival to avoid blocking the stage view.
There are lots of hotels within a mile radius, if you wish to stay the night. Please note there will be toilets on the event site, including disabled & baby change facilities.
