Jiveswing are currently among the UK & Europe’s leading swing dance teachers, choreographers and performers of african american jazz and vintage dances such as the 1940s Lindy Hop, Blues, 1920’s Charleston, Cake Walk and Authentic Jazz. JiveSwing tour at least forty weeks a year, inspiring and wowing people wherever they go with their high energy performances. JiveSwing have taught and performed all over the globe for schools, universities, theatres and corporate clients, including the world famous Royal Albert Hall, FIFA, London’s Canary Wharf, DHL, Tesco, Nationwide Bank, John Lewis, Butlins, Bletchley Park, Saga, English Heritage, MOVE IT, Ideal Home Show and The Dorchester. In addition, Jiveswing work closely with councils, BIDs & corporate clients to curate bespoke festivals & events.
In addition to JiveSwing’s national and international competition titles, they’ve featured on a number of music videos, books, magazines, radio and TV projects, such as BBC2’s 1940s Wartime Farm, national TV adverts for Dreamboats & Petticoats, Channel 4’s Come Dine With Me Royal Special and ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent. JiveSwing’s Joseph Sewell was also a dance consultant and special guest in the BBC Documentary Swingin’ at the Savoy, presented by Strictly’s Len Goodman, who was being taught by Joseph how to swing dance.
JiveSwing have also featured as the main choreographers and dancers in a number of music videos, including SING SING SING by Yolanda Be Cool (of Americano fame) and We Should Kiss by Joe Stilgoe.
JiveSwing have been hired as Main Billing Acts all over the world including Germany, France, Sweden, Spain, Scotland, Greece, Wales, Norway, Turkey, Switzerland, Denmark, Belgium, Jersey, Czech Republic, Hungary, Amsterdam, Israel, Slovenia, Italy, USA, Africa and Austria.

JiveSwing has three performance groups, available for all types of shows and to suit all budgets and occasions.
The JiveSwing All-Stars are a professional performance group with experience in theatre, TV shows and adverts, music videos, corporate events etc. They perform high-energy, acrobatic Lindy Hop, 1920’s Charleston, 1910s Black Bottom, Authentic Jazz & Rock & Roll routines.
Charlie’s Angels is an all female dance troupe, comprised of 15 ladies who will bring you a wide range of sparkling performances in dances through the decades from the 1910’s through to the 1980’s, but with a key focus on the classic vintage years such as 20’s Charleston, Authentic Jazz, Tap, Black Bottom, Fan Dance & Cake Walk.
The JiveSwing Hoppers are a mixed performance team who primarily focus on Lindy Hop, Charleston & Rock & Roll. They are constantly performing, at major community events, charity events, theatres, corporate events and private functions. Catch them flying through the air in their exhilarating performances!
