Last Sunday 24th July, approximately 1,700 people gathered for the 4th JiveSwing Jazz Festival, held at Cassiobury Park in Watford, for a sunny day of Music, Dancing, Dance Classes and Cabaret.
This amazing FREE event is sponsored by HLF and Watford Council, with JiveSwing.Com being the event organiser, providing the entertainment and pulling it all together.
The day started with recorded music, from the fabulous Jeep, Jump Jive, playing out of their military Jeep, then Live Music from the Tony Oliver Jazz Band and Down for the Count, featured above, from London

Over a thousand people were mesmerised, as the JiveSwing Hoppers and Charlie’s Angels dance troupe, took to the floor with their high energy Lindy Hop and Jazz Routines, just before we had the internationally acclaimed JiveAces, as seen on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent.
After a warm set and a number of classes, Joseph, Charlotte , Mike Down for the Count’s band leader and the JiveAces took to Jeep Jump Jive’s Jeep, for a quick break, before the final set by Cliff Longhurst and his 18 Piece Jazz Knights, Swing Orchestra
We’d like to say a huge thanks to all musicians, performers, all the JiveSwing Crew and Watford Town Council, for making last Sunday, an amazing JiveSwing Jazz Festival.
