Our Luton class is based at Stopsley Primary School run by a friendly group of people.
You’ll find us dancing and having heaps of fun, every Wednesday, between 7-8pm; and intermediates 8-9pm.
Jiveswing Luton 4 – Week Lindy Hop & Charleston Courses!
Class 1 will be at beginners’ level suitable for those who have not danced before, those who want a refresher after a long break or those looking to brush up on a new role they have not danced in before.
Class 2 is suitable for intermediate level dancers.
ACCESS & PARKING: Please use the Staff Entrance car park. If the car park is full, you may park on the playground. The staff entrance driveway is signposted & located on the right-hand side of Neville Funerals. Drive up to the gate, and it will open from 6.45 pm. Your satnav may direct you to the main school entrance. Our entrance is quite a bit further down the road, on the other side of Tesco.
EXTRAS:
Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing for the class! Inside the venue you will have access to the kitchen to refill your water bottles.
On arrival please head in to the main entrance and follow the signs to the dance studio.
If you miss a week on the course, please get in touch with us at admin@jiveswing.com, as whilst we cannot guarantee it, we will try to arrange an alternative class for you during the same month.

What to Expect
Doors open at 7:00pm. When you arrive, you will be greeted by our friendly crew who will guide you through ‘what’s what’. The night kicks off with a beginners class which lasts for 60mins. Following this, we then move onto our intermediate class for another 60 mins.
It’s a real fun night out, we think we’re the UK’s friendliest swing dance club!
We will focus primarily on Lindy Hop. However from time to time you will be introduced to a variety of other styles including 1920s Charleston, Balboa and Authentic Jazz. You can accelerate with workshops.
Adults of all ages come to dance, we have as many single people as we do couples. You don’t need a partner, previous experience or special clothing. Just wear clothes you’re comfortable moving about in and shoes/trainers (not with large grips).
Wednesday Nights in Luton are held in a nice hall within Stopsley Primary School in Luton. There is free, well lit parking on site.
Our Luton class attracts dancers from Hitchin, Dunstable, Stevenage, Letchworth and neighbouring villages.
